Group makes seven tie blankets for local charity
While you might suspect spring fever from the latest blast of cold temperatures, the Legal and Human Resources departments organized crafting for a cause.
With the assistance of the Thrivent Action Team program, they bought materials to produce seven tie blankets this week for Blankets for a Brighter Day, a foundation that provides tie blankets to patients of Minneapolis Children’s Hospital. Employees were encouraged to take time to stop and help cut and tie the Outdoor and Valentine’s Day-themed blankets.
