Ruger Execs and Employees Pull Together for Family, Community in COVID-19 Era

The storied firearm maker set up its own food pantry when several in its community closed or faced shortages as the coronavirus pandemic continued its progression. Ruger’s employees, in turn, donated their own food, hard-to-get items and some $11,000 in cash to the effort. The company then donated another $6,000 to local food charities, while the company’s drivers made themselves available for deliveries. As if that weren’t enough, the staff joined together to donate a huge cache of personal protection equipment to area first responders. Read the full story here.
