Many companies and workers in the firearm industry have stepped forward to help their communities fight the spread of COVID-19, changing manufacturing processes to produce safety equipment, donating critical supplies like hand sanitizer and face masks and more. The keyboard experts at Brownells, the online mega supplier of firearms, parts, accessories and gunsmithing supplies, took a different approach, putting their vast tech skills to work helping an international effort to execute computer modeling simulations of the virus so that researchers can find the way to stop it.
